True, or maybe the ~/Desktop directory or the apps/kdesktop one or the
applnk or .directory or .kdelnk files: these all interact in various
clever ways to enable any network administrator with shell/perl script
skills to keep control of all the desktops in the school. I have got a
little way with this, but I'd very much appreciate a link to somewhere
that explains all the entries and their effects and interactions -
particularly if I may remove all the foreign language entries.
