Problem is that you have to cope with multiple versions of
Java/JavaScript (including unlicenced Java, such as you find with
MS Windows.)

The likes of drag and drop might also be provided by the desktop
anyway.

It might be better to use bog standard HTML and also have
specialised "browsers".
