linux:/home/sigi # chkconfig -l | grep ntpd linux:/home/sigi # chkconfig -d ntpd ntpd: unknown service ntpd: not a runlevel service
Um es wirklich zu beenden:. $ rcntpd stop
^ Ist überflüssig?
linux:/home/sigi # rcntpd stop bash: rcntpd: command not found
Ist das weil es schon mit dem vorigem gestoppt wurde?
Also statt `rcntpd' sollte es wohl `rcntp' heißen.
linux:/ # rcntp stop Shutting down network time protocol daemon (NTPD) done linux:/ # ntpdate 0.pool.ntp.org 2 Sep 10:22:17 ntpdate[6374]: adjust time server 89.212.6.198 offset 0.355545 sec linux:/ # rcntp start Starting network time protocol daemon (NTPD) done
Im Übrigen ist das ein symbolischer Link auf das entsprechende Skript in `/etc/init.d', das genauso ausgeführt werden kann:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- pan:~ # which rcntp /usr/sbin/rcntp pan:~ # file `which rcntp` /usr/sbin/rcntp: symbolic link to `/etc/init.d/ntp' --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
OK, dass ist bei mir auch so. Aber meinst Du damit das dies eins das andere von alleine ausübt? Ich verstehe das leider nicht. Schönen Gruß Sigi
Franz.
