Anyway, on i586 a first packages were buildable, so there is a osc & build package in openSUSE:Tools project. I use the new rpm-md format for the repository at
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools/ScientificLinux_6/
but I dunno, if ScientificLinux/RHEL 6 is able to handle it. Would be great if someone could test to add this repo and to install osc and build package.
x86_64 is broken in general still due to missing/broken binaries.
x86_64 is starting builds now as well..

Excuse me for asking what may be a dumb question, but why can't the devel packages be built from source which by the gpl must be available?
To my knowledge (but I might be wrong), they are shipped only via RHN which forbids redistribution.
However, I have not really checked this, but it is too risky for me without finding out details (and I do not want to spend too much time one this personally). I also have no access to RHN.
