--- Comment #9 from Gabriele Mohr 2012-11-13 09:38:31 UTC ---
I have changed the name of the option "ignore recommended packages for already
installed packages" in the ncurses UI and also renamed the sysconfig variable.
The ncurses package selector now has the menu entry "Install Recommended
Packages for Already Installed Packages" which is OFF by default. To turn it ON
to get additional packages is more intuitive than the other way round (unset
"Ignore Packages ...").
The new name of the sysconfig variables is:
PKGMGR_REEVALUATE_RECOMMENDED
The default is set to "no" and the meaning is easier to explain now:
... Set this option to "yes" if you want to reevaluate which packages are
recommended...
Other options saved in /etc/sysconfig/yast2 are:
PKGMGR_AUTO_CHECK with default value set to "yes"
PKGMGR_VERIFY_SYSTEM with default value set to "no"
The solver options "cleanup deps on remove" and "allow vendor change" are not
saved.
I have created the pull request for the yast2 package containing the new
sysconfig template.
I am assigning the bug to the maintainer of qt package selector to follow the
changes (and afterwards please assign to the maintainer of gtk package
selector).
