I am using kernel-pae-2.6.25.11-0.1.i586.rpm and as far as I know it is a suse
kernel. I HAVE TO COMPILE THE DRIVER INTO THE SUSE KERNEL OR MY NETWORK DOES
NOT WORK PROPERLY. The only line changed in .config is CONFIG_R8169=y which
causes the driver to be in the kernel and not loaded as a module. If it was
loaded as a module I would not have network support.
Does suse not support their own kernels?
I have updated my bios and it has not solved the problem. Windows XP does not
have a problem with my nic.
I need to resolve this problem before I can start alpha testing again.
