In case of upgraded openSUSE 10.3 system, there is a dependency missing from
gtk2-devel to pcre.

from package gtk2-devel-2.12.0-5.8, the file
/usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.la
contains the line
> dependency_libs=' /usr/lib/libgmodule-2.0.la -ldl /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.la 
> /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.la /usr/lib/libpcre.la -lm'

but pcre-devel is not a dependency of it.

Without the update stack, the issue did not arise;
