26: None 00.0: 10000 Monitor [Created at fb.71] Unique ID: rdCR.EY_qmtb9YY0 Hardware Class: monitor Model: "Generic Monitor" Vendor: "Generic" Device: "Monitor" Resolution: 1280x1024@77Hz Driver Info #0: Max. Resolution: 1280x1024 Vert. Sync Range: 50-90 Hz Hor. Sync Range: 31-82 kHz Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown
This means, that no monitor has been detected, but it is assumed that the monitor can display the current framebuffer mode of 1280x1024. If you've installed in a 800x600 mode or even text mode you would see in the output 'Resolution: 800x600'.
I tried to change it, but could not find the original name of monitor that 10.3 detected. I think it was either 'phillips' or 'lg'. Hope this helps. Need more info?
Chose 1680x1050 as resolution and "LCD 1680x1050@60" as monitor during installation and you're fine or if you're using automatic configuration - wich you don't and which is good - run sax2/Yast afterwards to change these settings. I'm sorry, but we cannot detect each and every internal display / Monitor. ==> WONTFIX -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
