[Bug 365778] Cannot install autoupdate acroread-8.1.2-1.4. i586 on OpenSuse 10.2

Further investigation says that this problem has come about because a 32 bit
version of libicu could not be installed. Doing
rug search 32bit
shows lots of packages which have a catalog of "System" (even though they were
installed from a online catalog). Those 32bit libraries that belong to a real
catalog belong only to the update catalog. Other machines in the lab (whose zmd
has never been reset) do not show this behaviour.
