Hi,

The "Beyond Reader" screen that's shown at the launch of the Reader and the
Adobe Reader Help (plus all HTML rendering) uses the gtkmozembed library.  If
you're seeing "blank" contents in any of these areas, the reason could be an
incompatible GTK version.  Please note that the version of xulrunner or mozilla
that you install (for gtkmozembed) must be based on GTK 2.x and NOT GTK 1.x. 
Could you confirm if this is the case?
