ok, i found the file, you are right.
i didn't see, that it is provided in the lomoco-1.0-15 package.
my fault.
but as i have the file, and nothing happens when i plug in the mouse, then this
file is not working correctly also.
in this file, there is not call to the lomoco binary or the script
/lib/udev/lomoco.sh.
how should the system know to start the lomoco tool to set the mouse options
configured in /etc/sysconfig/logitech_mouse?
and how do
/etc/udev/rules.d/40-lomoco.rules and
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/50-lomoco.fdi interfere with each other?
are these 2 different ways for doing configuration?
why are both installed, when opensuse10.3 relies on resmgr, and HAL FDI files?
which one is used first?
which one sets the permissions under /dev/bus/usb/?
which one is used?
both?
fact is, that i don't have write permissions to /dev/bus/usb/005/001 and
therefore i can't use lomoco which relies on this.
