When installing the OS, and using the online repos, it prefers the "online" version of the package over the local version, even if its the same package! I don't think this behavior is expected, or is it?
Libzypp, the package management library used in YaST, currently does not have a priority mechanism for repos. AFAIK the considered attributes are package version, architecture, and vendor. There are some plans to improve that, but I am not sure how far we are.
