One of the things I've started doing is replacing, wherever possible, pages that instruct a 10.3 user to add a repository and install something, replacing those instructions with 1-Click Install link. Once this has been established, we need to make sure new editors and authors of pages know that pages should be correctly categorized from the start. So we may need to have a page describing how articles should be categorized. What is a "HOWTO", what belongs in the SDB, what is an app description page, etc. Just to remove some of the confusion. This may also be accompanied with proper naming schemes. Maybe howtos should start with HOWTO: or the like. Maybe after a decent amount of categories are established, we suggest that authors of pages start new articles with this method: We could have a link on the category pages to "Create page in this Category." This would then bring up a blank page that has the author enter in the title and content. This page would then be created and would automatically add the category tag for the chosen category. Hopefully if authors are urged to use this method, it will reduce uncategorized pages and therefore reduce after-the-fact editing. [opensuse-wiki] How to integrate Zonker's blog properly

Hi, Zonker's blog is up and running (http://zonker.opensuse.org/) called openSUSE spotlight. But I don't see any links from en.opensuse.org or news.opensuse.org. Am I just to blind to see them or aren't they there? What about adding openSUSE spotlight to the left nav, "openSUSE" box where the other contents like Get Software, Build Software, News etc. are listed. [opensuse-wiki] Where to put an SVG file...

Hello everyone! So, I need to upload some SVGs to be available for download from the openSUSE wiki. Apparently, the wiki doesn't allow SVG files to be uploaded. So, do you folks have any recommendations on where I can upload SVG files so I can link to them and have them available for download from the wiki? [opensuse-wiki] Add a friendly banner at the top of frontpage?

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to possibly put a large, friendly banner on the front page of the en.oS.org wiki, in a GNOME.org like fashion, with latest big news and other cool things to check out. Perhaps this could be a part of a small touch up to the front page, which I think it needs. But this is just an idea, and i would like some opinions.
