Suggestions please!
Hi all... I want to do a bit of programming. I'd like to take a command line command and make a KDE GUI for it. What ide would you all suggest that would be the best to use and where can I find examples of this type of programming? TIA! KDE GUI is kdelibs which is based on qt from Trolltech. So your best way to start would be here: http://doc.trolltech.com/3.3/index.html There's tutorials, reference manuals, etc. etc. When you get so far as having a qt program doing what you want, converting it to KDE is simple, and I bet there's tons of docu on the KDE developer website about it. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogical, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. Zoek naar DCOP. Python has a QT class aswell, to make QT UI's directly. Theo -- Theo v.
