[opensuse] Using 32 bit apps on 64bit 10.3
I have had one or two problems with 64bit apps and updates. The update seems to insist on using 64bit even when there isn't one available and if I want to install something eg KHexedit I get the 64bit KDE 4 version. It has problems. There seems to be no way of asking for 32bit apps or am I missing something? I seriously doubt that the KDE 4 Hexedit was degraded by being compiled in 64-bit. More than likely, the degradation has to do with the KDE 3 -> KDE 4 switch. KDE 4 still has *serious* teething problems. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

John: what makes you think it is an architecture-specific problem ?
