Patrick, I have not used any ORB drive but from what I've seen on some mailing lists they are not too reliable. This is mainly to do with the cartridges failing. I suggest you do a search on the mailing lists and you will turn up some info on them and make up your own mind on their reliability. http://www.deja.com/home_ps.shtml regards, Graham Smith ---------------------------------- -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

I asked about these about a year ago, and got no response. The IDE versions work, and I hear that the SCSI versions work. I've heard a lot of complaints from the Windows/PC world, though, about the units' reliability (not good). I decided not to buy one personally. The Iomega Jaz2, though *significantly* more expensive, would probably be a safer buy. On Mon, 03 Jul 2000, you wrote:

Thanks Jon... I just spoke with Castlewood, they are going to send me an internal to beta test so I'll let everyone know how the test went... Patrick On 05-Jul-2000 Jon Pennington wrote:
