[SLE] OT linux and telocity DSL
I am looking to upgrade my Internet connection from 56k dialup modem to DSL. Has anybody on this list had any experience with telocity DSL. I currently have a small two node (one SuSE and one Win95) network with a PC running freesco router to connect via 56k modem to my isp. I would like to up grade the 56k to DSL. I am currently looking at "telocity DSL". Has anybody on this list had any experience with this company? Any input would be helpful. tim -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
I don't know what telocity is, bus I'm using DSL for my web server, and other home computer. It's been great with no down time. My suggestions would be to get a external DSL modem so you can plug it right into a hub for the rest of your network to get to. Also be picky wiht your ISP, alot of the ones up here only do DHCP, or are really stingy with static IP address. Good Luck Keith
