[opensuse] Can't get Dolphin to default to open .html with OpenOffice.................
Every time I try to edit a .html file, it keep opening it with Firefox. Although I believe I configured it - in everything - to OpenOffice. Dolphin and KDE is configured correctly. Hi On my laptop, it's: 2-finger tap on the file > open with other application Choose OpenOffice from the list which appears. Check the box which says 'use as default for this type of file'. Well my next question is * What happens if you take the "open With.." option and use the openoffice option there explicitly? No, that's not fair, my next question should be "Can you run it from the command line?" That will show up permission and other problems that you can't see in GUI mode. There's also a bit in the config about working directory, isn't there? Oh, and when you do the config, isn't there supposed to be a parameter set, "%f" or something? Yes, I can open the file this way - the problem it is not the default.
