I just reboot my server and now sendmail gives a segmentation fault whenever I run it. This is SuSE 7.1. The box has been up some 20 days or so and sendmail working fine. I reboot the box over the weekend and now sendmail will not run. I downloaded the current sendmail.rpm for SuSE 7.1 and install it, but still the same results. I have tared the /etc/sendmail.cf /etc/mail from a working unit and the still the same. I find no options I can pass to sendmail that do not fault. I also copied /usr/sbin/sendmail from a working box onto this one and the same problem. Is there another part of sendmail that is called by the sendmail program when it first starts that may be corrupt? I am going to now uninstall the sendmail from yast2 and then reinstall in hopes that does something, but I suspect it will not. Please, any help appreciated. I really do not want to spend the night reinstalling this system from scratch in hopes it will help. Greg Engel
