We have ubuntu and love it, also we have one of it's offsprings, Puppy linux, they both work just fine, except we have a problem with the dial up, I have looked in so many places but cannot find the solution to a problem. The dial setup and completion on ubuntu works like this: sudo pppconfig, fill in the details and voila it't done But not so with puppy, It recognizes the modem, makes a conection (it's visible on the phone). but cannot suply internet etc. In ubuntu one goes to aplication, accesories, terminal, sudo pppconfig. In puppy I can/t even find a terminal to enter the details. It's such a silly thing really, I gues everyone knows what and where to do it but not me. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You'll probably have better luck with a Ubuntu-specific mailing list; this mailing list is for openSUSE, which really doesn't have anything to do with Ubuntu or Puppy Linux.....
