Even a little more info: I hooked my laptop (dcrlaptop) into the home network (1st time since setting up the SuSE box) and viola! the damn (sorry) dns thing worked!!! Why in the (HE double hockey sticks) does it work with my laptop, 1st time, and won't work with the 2 computers that were hooked to the net before I ran into this $##%^& problem??? A little more info. What is again funny/weird is that the 3111skyline.com zone does get updated, but not with the TXT "secret" information. Here is the zone file after a release and renew from dhcpd. And note, the serial is updating. Why is ddns/named not signing the zone file with the TXT info? This information was included before I messed something up. I need help knowing where to look next -- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
