Netstat omitting Program Name and PID
Hello: I have a database server that is being bombarded with connections. Under these circumstances, when I monitor connections to the database port using "netstat -alpn", some connections are displayed without the PID/Program Name, others are displayed properly. I would like to know why netstat can't display the PID/Program for several of the connections to the DB port? I am using SuSE 9.0 Pro kernel 2.4.21.243 Regards, Martin -------------------------- Dinamica - Instant gratification J2EE framework Free, easy and powerful http://www.martincordova.com
