[opensuse] kde44 - ksnapshot sftp save of files to remote host sets 0600 permissions - how to fix?
Listmates, For as long as I can remember using sftp with konqueror, ksnapshot, kate, kwrite, etc.. the file saved on the remote host has always been saved/copied/moved with the SAME permissions as the source file or with at least 0644 permissions. Now suddenly in kde44, all remote files are saved with permissions of 0600 causing you to have to either ssh into the remote box and chmod the permissions back to the correct permissions or navigate there with konqueror and manually change them. For example, I just took a couple of screenshots concerning a regression with konqueror no longer updating the folder list if a folder is renamed in the right-window. After taking the screenshots, I just "Save As" to the web server so the shots are available, and every time I do this, the files are saved 0600 -- making them inaccessible. Here is how they end up: -rw------- 1 david dcr 141294 2010-02-12 17:33 konq-no-update-on-dir-rename_00.jpg -rw------- 1 david dcr 64051 2010-02-12 17:33 konq-no-update-on-dir-rename_01.jpg Is this a setting some where or a new bug? -- David C.
