[opensuse] Desktop Folder folded
Hi, I mistakenly hit the X and closed the desktop folder on my Opensuse 11.2 with kde4.4 on it. I haven't found out a way to get it back on display in the desktop, can someone help me with this task? Right click the desktop and unlock the widgets, then right-click again and add the folder view widget. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Or the simplest option (with unlocked widgets): just drag the folder you want to see on your desktop from a file manager (Dolphin) to the desktop and select Folder View. Which reminds me, SUSE is playing host to opensuse@opensuse.org's favourite bunch, the Plasma developers next week in Nuernberg. While this will naturally be of benefit to the openSUSE user base, I'd like to make sure that your specific needs are met (this does not include a webcam-enabled custard pie-a-KDE-developer booth). I'll be going through Dotan's bugs.kde.org reports with them looking for fixes. If you have KDE Workspace issues - Plasma, KWin, Oxygen icons and theming - that you want eyeballs on, make sure they are reported (if possible, via Dotan - that makes them easy to find on bko). Oh and for those of you within striking distance of Nuernberg, there is an open evening: http://news.opensuse.org/2010/02/11/meet-the-kde-plasma-developers-at-suse- feb-22/ Will -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Damn! What an opportunity. I can think of a few people that would pay to see that :-). Especially if there was a web-controlled robot pie-thrower...ROFL -- =================================================== Rodney Baker VK5ZTV rodney.baker@iinet.net.au =================================================== -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
