[opensuse] Windows opening off-screen
Hi all, I recently upgraded my work Lenovo W530 laptop from oS 12.3 to 13.1, and it went great! The only problem is, whenever I load certain programs, they tend to open up off-screen. It seems like if a program does this, it always does it; other programs work fine. If a program does it, I can *usually* right-click on its taskbar entry, go to More Actions, then Move, and bring it down. But this doesn't always work. I'm sure that this is probably a side-effect of my display configuration (http://susepaste.org/9f864968) but it's rather annoying nonetheless. Referencing the image I linked there, windows typically open with the top just out of reach on the left (DP-3) display. If I move that display "up" on the configuration, I can see more of the window, so it acts like they're aligning with the top of the DP-2 display, but rendering on the DP-3. This didn't happen on 12.3. (I don't want to move the display "up" on the configuration though, because then my screens don't line up with reality, and my mouse pointer gets lost when I migrate from one side of my desk to another.) All three displays are 1920x1080 pixels; my window manager is the stock KDE. I was curious if there's a way to prevent this? I'm not using any custom drivers, just whatever installed with oS, because it does all that I need. Thanks much!
