[SLE] XFree86-4.0 - Follow up (summary)
Here's a summary of the answers I got to my XFree86-4.0--related questions... and still asking for help.
- Finally, I now get the following error message (not before, and I only installed XFree-4.0):
Sorry, your X11 Server lacks DPMS Support
In the section Module, try to add
Load "dpms"
I thought of this, but in sax2 there's no "dpms" in the section "modules". What can I do? If nothing else, how do I prevent KDE from trying to load/find dpms?
Yep, I now know that the wmlist is missing in the XFree86 4.0 rpm. That'swhy no choice is possible in YaST.
Will there be a fix soon (rpm), or is there anything I can do myself?
- YaST related, when I try to manage users and ask for a list of users, it goes back to the menu, rather than give me the list.
Hmm, this is odd? I do not see the relation to XFree86 4.0 here.
He may be using an xterm and when he presses a function key it's interpreted as an escape
I think that this is the problem, can use YaST properly if I su within Konsole, but not xterm. Any fixes? Well, if you cannot help me at this point, at least I hope that my "findings" will help you providing a fully working version.
