Ok, I have just gotten suse installed on an old p100 with 65 megs ram. over close to 24 hr from the cd's i know i had way too much stuff choosen to install. ok when it boots i boots into kdm an xwindows. I shut that down to a console an fire up yast an chose to just boot up to the console. well it does that but it boots up into the same small box that the installation was in. has anyone else had this problem an know what solves it. THis did not happen at home on my nice new duron 850 but then i did an update there. It would be nice if it would boot up to console an be full screen instead of being in that small box with the suse logo an the linux exspert accross the top. thanks jack
I believe this is not a 'problem' but a 'feature' ;-) Actually, I'd kind of like to know how to turn it off too, it's very annoying - text consoles should be white text on black background, and switching to tty[2|3|4|5|6] is getting tiresome...
