I'm running a dual boot system with Outlook 2000 (All service packs installed) and SuSE8 and Kmail. Now I want Kmail to download anything with [SLE] in the subject and leave everything else on the server for when I use Outlook. My Kmail filters say download anything with [SLE] in the subject and download later anything that does not contain [SLE] in the subject. Problem is it still downloads everything. What dumb mistake am I making? Simon --- Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.381 / Virus Database: 214 - Release Date: 2002/08/02

It's not dumb, the usage of pop filters isn't very intuitive. In the "Settings->configure kmail" dialog, go to network, highlight your pop account and click "modify". Select "Filter messages if they are greater than 1 byte" and hit ok. Only after this are the pop filters applied. regards Anders -- `When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, `it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less.'
