I don't want to write HTML in vi. In fact I don't want to ever write anything in vi or TeTex. I enjoy a few creature comforts from time to time and for the time being it seems that Linux does not yet offer enough to compete.
vi? vi is one of THE most used tools on my Linux machine and Unix boxes at work. It can't be that bad... O'Reilly have written whole books on the subject! Do yourself a favour and learn vi. If your desktop/wm ever crashes (You won't be able to run KEdit) Oh, and THE best HTML editor is Macromedia DreamWeaver 3 that runs on Windows. Linux users are proud of their Linux use - and we also know when a program is good or not, whether it runs on Linux or not. Just because a program doesn't run on Linux doesn't make it crap. That isn't to say that if Macromedia produced a Linux version I'd stay with Windows - I'd be on that bandwagon. No, I'll be driving it. Kevin; If it weren't for Macromedia Flash 4.0 and Cold Fusion, Windoz would NEVER darken my doorstop. The frustration of dealing with this poor excuse for an operating system drives me to spells of rage and then despair. I have been using SuSE since version 5.3 and this is my only refuge after a spell of Windoz. If only Flash and Cold Fusion would go open source my life would become so much easier. Cold Fusion's not OSS, but there is a linux version. (i've not used Cold Fusion, but i know several people that switched from it to PHP, that may be another option for you...) anyway. have fun, Rocky McGaugh rmcgaugh@atipa.com -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
