I searched the amavis list arichives, only one similar question came up with no replies.
This is on a 8.2 machine, but I have to implement it on a 8.0 production server and I can't afford any downtime. Any insights would be appreciated.
Thank you Hans
OK, it's definitely amavis - I removed it from postfix setup and mail get's delivered now. So what's up with amavis? Thanks Hans

I had a problem with amavis about 2 weeks ago. Lost about 100 posts deferred, but never delivered. I believe that it was a bad virus database file. I disabled it for 2 days and it has since worked properly. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org
