[opensuse] I can send mail via postfix, but no external mail comes in [solved]
I finally fixed my problem and forgot to send a thankx out to the people that helped. It was actually a networking error. I had lost power, and the dyndns updater I have never started back up and updated my ip. Thanx for all the help though. -- Michael S. Er... when you do this, you should post your "solved" in the same thread as your original question, not as an independent email. It is very difficult to find and know what the original problem was, and it will not be archived as solved. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Yeah. I tried finding to see if I had a copy of the message somewhere. In hindsight I should have searched the online archives and made the subject the same I suppose. -- Michael S. That's not how threading is handled. Threading uses the In-Reply-To and References headers. You might be able to edit these headers manually in your MUA of choice, but I find the best way to have these headers be correct is to use my MUAs "reply" action when viewing the original mail. (Using the header line is a poor fall back, but it is supported on many MUAs, usually in addition to the header I mentioned above.) -- Boyd Stephen Smith Jr. ,= ,-_-. =. bss@iguanasuicide.net ((_/)o o(\_)) ICQ: 514984 YM/AIM: DaTwinkDaddy `-'(. .)`-' http://iguanasuicide.net/ \_/

You can retrieve the entire month of email in mbox format and have your mail program import it.

It wouldn't work. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
