that explains the e-mail i got today about my order for 8.2 update.. the subject mentioned a backorder, but the text didn't say anything about it being late (just that they would ship shortly) -- trey

I finally got around to "pre"-ordering on the 9th, got a message that it was "back ordered" which I expected [gotta love computers -- because it was a "pre" order, the automated system calls it a back-order...] however, on the "good news" front, while reading the latest set of messages for the day kmail "dinged" with the new-mail sound I have set, and there in my inbox was an "it has been shipped!" note from SuSE -- wooohooo!
