I'm in the process of upgrading from 9.2 to 10.0 (boxed version), and it appears to have hung. The time remaining has been at 00:33 for a couple of hours now. The progress bar hasn't moved either. Clicking on the "Details" panel tab doesn't do anything (it's still showing the "Slide Show"). There appears to be a little activity on the hard drive, but not much. Any suggestions? Can I safely abort at this point?
Thanks,
Mike
If possible try to get a console, Alt-Ctrl-F10 would show most errors. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 Well, I started the update again, and it has been running all night. It has progressed from "Update Summary" to "Perform Update", but appears stuck at installing yast2-users-2.12.8 (YaST2-User and Group Configuration). I've performed upgrades many times and never seen this happen before. Not sure what to do but start again. Heaven knows what I'll end up with if I ever get it to complete.
