In everybodies opinion, what would be the best S.U.S.E. Linux book on the market? I am looking for something for tutorials. Eric

We have Lar as a speaker every year or so. He is currently pursuing a career in Intellectual Property law. -- Jerry Feldman

I frequently reference "SuSE Linux Installation and Configuration" by El-Dirghami & Abu Kwaik. It's published by Que and distributed by InformIT. Good Book for getting around with but it's a little dated (copyright 2000). Came with 6.5. Works for me with most of the 'simple' stuff. Mostly command line manipulation and terminal usage which is really a weak point for me. Lots of command line tutorials. All of them I've needed worked in 7.3 just fine. Good part is you can pick it up at a book store really cheap now. For what it's worth, will

You might also find some good info in the SuSE manuals that come with the Pro package. They are well written and informative, plus they are up to date! Pat -- --- KMail v1.5.3 --- SuSE Linux Pro v8.2 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
