[opensuse] Firefox - 3.6 Crashes every time on youtube video, OK on Opera - New Bug?
Listmates, Firefox is crashing on this youtube video every time. The link is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZc8nvL9SJM **warning, when you test in Opera, you may ROTFLYAO. What happens if firefox begins loading the page and then - WHAM, it crashes cold. There is no error thrown, no nothing, FF just disappears. On restart, if you choose to "Restore" your prior session when you start FF again, the same thing happens. To test I tried in Opera which worked the first time. Can anyone confirm this bug on their box? If so, I'll file the bug.. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Malcom, Glad to know it is working for you and thanks for your quick reply. I'll bet it will end up being plug-in on my end. As far as the FF version, I have: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.0) Gecko/20100115 SUSE/3.6.0-1.2 Firefox/3.6 Would you mind letting me know what build of FF you have? Thanks. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. I can't watch the video, youtube says: "The URL contained a malformed video ID." But Firefox does not crash or behave abnormally in any way. Firefox is the 32 bit version on an (heavily modified) opensuse 11.1. liesel:/home/htd # rpm -qa | egrep 'Firefox|mozilla' mozilla-nspr-32bit-4.8.2-1.1.1 mozilla-xulrunner192-1.9.2.0-2.1 mozilla-xulrunner190-gnomevfs-32bit-1.9.0.17-0.1.1 MozillaFirefox-translations-common-3.6.0-1.2 mozilla-xulrunner190-32bit-1.9.0.17-0.1.1 mozilla-xulrunner190-gnomevfs-1.9.0.17-0.1.1 mozilla-nss-3.12.4-4.2 mozilla-xulrunner191-translations-common-1.9.1.7-2.3 mozilla-nss-32bit-3.12.3.1-1.1.1 mozilla-xulrunner190-translations-1.9.0.17-0.1.1 mozilla-xulrunner191-1.9.1.7-2.3 mozilla-xulrunner192-gnome-32bit-1.9.2.0-2.1 mozilla-nspr-4.8.3-1.1 mozilla-xulrunner192-gnome-1.9.2.0-2.1 mozilla-xulrunner190-1.9.0.17-0.1.1 mozilla-xulrunner192-translations-common-32bit-1.9.2.0-2.1 MozillaFirefox-branding-upstream-3.5.5-2.4 mozilla-xulrunner192-translations-common-1.9.2.0-2.1 mozilla-xulrunner192-32bit-1.9.2.0-2.1 mozilla-xulrunner190-translations-32bit-1.9.0.17-0.1.1 MozillaFirefox-3.6.0-1.2 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
