I have two printers on my CUPS network (B&W, Color). I can toggle the DEFAULT setting easily enough. But how do I select which printer from Mozilla, Gimp, or OpenOffice? (Just about everything else would be BW only) I'm not looking to have two sets of default printers since most of the Mozilla and OpenOffice stuff will always be BW, but I don't have any idea how to select Color for these applications without changing the Default setting at the desktop. Probably not the ideal process. Any help would be appreciated.

I use CUPS and Kprinter. An app prints to Kprinter, which then allows me to select which printer or other output I want to use. I have two printers configured via CUPS along with PDF, e-mail PDF etc., in Kprinter.

Set their printer to kprinter, from which you can easily choose whichever you want. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM. I say, by the grace of God, I am what I am.
