Hi, I installed kde3.4 except for kdebase3.4.2-12 which is part of the functions offered in the suse kdebase functions. However kdebase3.4.2-12 indicates that it has an unsatisfied element: xorg-x11 and will not install. It doesn´t specifiy the level of xorg.x11 and xorg-x11 is not part of the functions available in the suse kdebase functions offered. Does anybody know if xorg.x11 is pending, available somewhere else for suse 9.1pro, or not to be used [including not installing kdebase3.4.2-12? or Alternately, should one as Anders Johansson correctly suggested for a StarOffice [7.5] update: try running the following [as root] rm /root/.Xauthority exit sux and then try running the update again. If you run those three commands exactly as I typed them, it should work and it did! -- Cheers, Serge [Naggar Consulting]

-- Cheers, Serge [Naggar Consulting] Did the commands you ran allow you to update Xorg-X11 or starOffice. I'm still looking for a howto to update 9.1 to X11???
