apache2 and SSLVerifyClient
hi, i'm running into a problem when i enable SSLVerifyClient under apache2-2.0.49 where the child process is exiting with Segmentation fault (11)'. just before the child exists i'm seeing the messages: [info] Requesting connection re-negotiation [info] Awaiting re-negotiation handshake [notice] child pid 11441 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) if anyone wants debug logs i'll send them. i've read the threads on the list about this but i'm not finding a resolution. this system is SuSE 9.1 with the latest YOU updates. the CA and server certs i've generated with openCA, i've been using these for a few years. in fact if i install install apache-1.3.28 from the SuSE 9.0 distribution the SSLVerifyClient works fine. thanks -- Darin Perusich Unix Systems Administrator Cognigen Corp. darinper@cognigencorp.com

If possible, please test whether the problem is fixed or if it can still be reproduced with apache2/libapr0 packages from here: http://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/apache/apache2/9.1-i386/ (If php4 or other modules are installed, you need to update them from the same location / directory above.) Peter
