I have a server at home with a bunch of stuff on it. It's running SuSE 9.0, and I'm still using apaceh 1.3. I would like to install Apache 2.0, but I would need to migrate things over slowly. I downloaded the RPM for apache2, and it looks like it uses different directories than 1.x. Just to be on the safe side, though, can someone verify that both apache 1.x and 2.0 can coexist on the same server? I know I need to change the port for apache 2 so they don't confict. Thanks in advance.

They coexist with SuSE's packages without any problem. Just use a different port or IP address. Peter
