Can Konqueror make a sym-link?
Hi: I always have to open a terminal if I want to make a sym-link, you know, the "ln -s" kind. Can this be done in Konqueror? Thanks. -- ____________________________________ Christopher R. Carlen Principal Laser/Optical Technologist Sandia National Laboratories CA USA crcarle@sandia.gov
Hi Yes. do window-split-window, then select directory where You want the symlink to be placed. Then drag-n-drop the file there, and it will ask You (copy/move/link). Jaska. On Monday 04 November 2002 20:17, Chris Carlen wrote:

Good grief. You know I've dragged-n-dropped a million times, and every time the little menu with move, copy, link showed up, and I just never noticed the link option. Funny how you can just totally overlook stuff. Thanks. -- ____________________________________ Christopher R.
