USB Wacom Graphire - is it supported in the sax2 setup
Hi, the subject is the question i've had a graphire for nearly 3 months with no luck in using it. Yours Barrie Grieve
Try www.linux-usb.org for information about USB support - the graphire is supported. I think there is a wacom howto on www.linuxdoc.org too. It explains how to set up /etc/XF86Config to support the graphire. Gimp (www.gimp.org) is the best package to test the graphire with. You may need to recompile some of the gimp libraries to get the wacom support included. Finally, you may need to find a little package called xinput to map the wacom mouse buttons correctly. I've been using a serial wacom for 6 months with no serious problems.I've heard that there were some problems with the USB version, but these may well be sorted in the 2.4 kernel.
