I have recently had to reload my SuSE 7.1 system, since then I have not been able to use all my speakers, I can only use the two front & base speaker. The two rear speakers will not work. I have tried modifying the output level on line 2 with kmix & gmix but to no avail. Any help appreciated. Phil

I run this card as well under 7.1 Recently had the same trouble. Turned out it was something rather simple so don't laugh: Unplug and re-insert the plugs from your speakers into the sb live card. I dunno about your's but mine have a habbit of popping out from time to time. *shrug* If that doesn't do it Fire up gamix: I had to place my REAR control all the way up, master at half sliders below master at full, EFFECT enabled and wide slider all the way to the right. I preefer gamix to others as it enables some of the expensive extra's of the SB Live. I've included my config file for gamix -> ~/.gamix/Config Hope this helps... - -- ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ???????????????????????????????
