[SLE] kernel-default-2.6.16.21-0.13
This came through as an update on Smart a couple of days ago. However, if I run it, lm-sensors goes up the spout and I get no motherboard information any more. Anyone else noticed this, or know of a workaround? Everything works fine with the old stock kernel, kernel-default-2.6.16.13-4. TIA :) Fish -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Not here, alas. It fails to start on boot, and thereafter if tried manually. Can't work out why, as yet anyway. :) Fish -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Did you recompile and reinstall the modules? Ciao, Marcus -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Nope, not yet. Just a standard update. I will now try and report back. :) Fish -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Recompiled but no dice. I see someone filed a bug report on OpenSuSE against a fairly recent kernel (not this one) for the same reason earlier this month. Oh well, who knows. Hardly the end of the world. Sexy Beast is on the TV tonight. Let's get priorities straight here. :) Fish -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
