Pete, follow the instructions posted by Bryan Tyson 2 or 3 days ago regarding kaffeine, xine, and codecs available at this URL: http://cambuca.idhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine Works perfectly in 9.2 and 9.3. I can play all sorts of video formats including .asx in either kaffeine or xine. Don't know about 10.0 since I've not yet upgraded from 9.3. Gil

Sorry, mea culpa. I typed an "i" instead of an 'l." :o) Try this instead: http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine Gil

http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/ Worked as of 13:38 on 12/15/05. Look closely at the url in Peter's message. I think he put an "i" where it should be "l."
