FYI: Replacement Stylus for Zaurus SL-5500
Since there are a few other Zaurus users here, I thought I would post my solution for a replacement stylus. For those who wonder why I didn't just buy one from Sharp, the answer is they don't sell any! I talked to customer service twice and searched the web, including the Sharp site, only to come up empty. Lucky me, I broke the stylus tip in a permanent way (a whole other story) after 3 days. The closest off-the-shelf match I found was the Fellowes Replacement Stylus for the Handspring Treo 90/180/270. I got a package of 4 for US$9.99 at CompUSA. I did have to file down the top a little to get it to fit, but now it is working as a fine replacement. Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MCSE, N+ Once in a moment, it all comes to you As soon as you get it, you want something new Got spam? Get spastic http://spastic.sourceforge.net

I used to have a visor, till I managed to fall on my face w/ it in my pocket. anyhow, I found the styli to be extremely uncomfortable. For around $30, I got a nice full size pen/pencil/stylus. feels so much better, no more hand cramps Joe -=-=- ... FREE TOASTER IF YOU JOIN THE DARK SIDE! Http://tigger.tmcom.com/~josad

from the Zaurus-general mailing list (also try Office Depot):
As listed here:

Order a replacement SL-5000D stylus from Sharp
While it appears styluses still aren't available at any retailers, it seems Sharp accepts orders for them. The part number is CPEN1008YC01. You can call Sharp's tech. support at: 1-877-794-8675. (This is the plastic stylus.)
