Re: [SLE] Karamba and rpm download troubles
I think you meant for this to go to the list (especially with the comment "out there") This reply cc. the list On Sat, 2003-04-12 at 03:57, Paul Benjamin wrote:
Hey thanks! I deleted the audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin and that solved my problem.
Just a hint do NOT set application/x-rpm to show file in separate viewer. I got 58 Konqueror file viewers when I clicked on the rpm I downloaded before I got ksysguard started to shut it down! Just a warning for the knob tweekers out there.
I got Karamba to compile by feeding: ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 make su rootpassword make install
Now to play with my new toy.
Thanks for the quick response.

That's because the link is a redirector.
In mozilla, edit preferences->Helper applications, find the one for realaudio (I think it's called audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin) and either delete the setting completely or set it to "save to disk" or check the "always ask" box.
In konqueror, settings->configure konqueror->file associations (or whatever the setting is called in US english. in the search box, enter rpm, edit the hits one by one and remove the associated helper programs.
