I used to use FreeBSD and I was able to add a command to my .foward file to forward my mail but retain a local copy.. something like: #.forward copyto "new@address.com" It doesn't seem to work under SuSE 6.3 .. but prolly I have the syntax wrong and I have searched hi and low for the darn thing, all to know avail. I work with sendmail, if using sendmail you have /etc/aliases in wich you can set forwarding through aliases like you have tom@domain.com and you want to forward it to tom@domain1.net, so you enter this line: tom: tom1@domain1.net, any@second.domain.you.want.to.forwart.to in wich tom is the local user you want to forward. You can set forward to several mail addresses... separated by a comma (,). You can also do this with procmail creating .forward file in the user?s home with all the email adress?s you want to forward. Procmail sucks CPU processing and system resources... choose wich one you want to use. Nelson Marques Hi Suse folks In brief..
