Hey all, I'm having some problems getting Apache2 working on my SuSE 9.1 install. here's the apache2 packages I have installed. apache2-example-pages-2.0.49-23 apache2-mod_auth_mysql-20030510-204 apache2-doc-2.0.49-23 apache2-prefork-2.0.49-23 apache2-2.0.49-23 apache2-mod_perl-1.99_12_20040302-33 apache2-mod_php4-4.3.4-26 When starting Apache2 I get: Starting httpd2 (prefork) failed /var/log/apache2/error_log reports this: [Fri Jul 09 02:26:59 2004] [warn] Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache] [Fri Jul 09 02:26:59 2004] [notice] suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper: /usr/sbin/suexec2) Thanks is advance for any help. If you're trying to setup SSL so that your http server listens to https requests as well, then consider this: - Start with a pristine /etc/apache2 directory - Follow the directions in /usr/share/doc/packages/apache2/README.QUICKSTART.SSL This is the only way I could get it working [FWIW ;)].
