Suggest change in behaviour of non-English keyboard layouts
I am an Indian and I use more than one Indian language. So previously with 9.3 I used to have the Devanagari keyboard and the Tamil keyboard set-up. But in 10.0 RC1 I find that all these have been clumped up together into one single "Indian" keyboard layout. I find this most inconvenient. Now I have to go to KDE Control Center or the command line every time I need to change the keyboard from Devanagari to Tamil. Please change it back to like it was before. I also need to use US and US-Intl alternatively. (When I write to friends in French, German or Polish I need US-Intl but otherwise I need US.) Now I am unable to do this too, owing to the "feature" that has been added. I again request a revert to the previous status. Shall I file a bug? Is this a KDE bug or a SUSE bug? I hope one of the developers will respond. Thank you. SS.

Yes, please file a bug at http://bugzilla.novell.com/ (Product SUSE Linux 10.0, Component X.org as it is probably an X problem).

They will respond in the bug report ;-) thanks, Sonja -- Sonja Krause-Harder (skh@suse.de) Research & Development SUSE Linux Products GmbH

Reported as bug #120305. I called myself a beta-customer. I hope that's right. SS.
