Hi I heard somewhere (I think it was on this list, quite some time ago) that linux could be configured to show a graphical penguin at boot up (like the windowz splash screen). Does anyone know how to do this? You need to compile your kernel with framebuffer support included and then alter lilo.conf to include the kernel option 'vga=<something>'.
